Please read the below carefully so that you are familiar with what options are available to you should you not be entirely satisfied with your purchase.

We will gladly accept requests to exchange within 14 days of your purchase date from items purchased via the official South African Emotion Wear store.

Exchanges are acceptable – NO REFUNDS

All Emotion Wear items are checked prior to delivery however, should you find a fault you.

You have 48 hours from receiving your parcel to notify us of any damages. No returns will be processed for damages, threads, laddering or stitching faults exceeding the 48 hour notice period as they will be deemed as wear and tear.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.



All exchange requests need to emailed  to You will be required to get the garment to us at your own cost – whether that be via courier or drop off as arranged with an Emotion Wear representative in order to facilitate the exchange process. We will carry the cost of the exchange if it is due to product fault or damage but any other reason such as sizing, design preference, fit etc will be for your own cost. Ensure you use a reliable courier company as Emotion Wear will not be held liable for missing parcels. Please note – if you did not pay for the courier service with the original purchase, then we will only fund the collection of the damaged item and not the delivery of the replacement product as well.

Once your request is received, we will process the exchange within 7 days and the progress or status of such will be communicated to you via email. All returned items must be in original  packaging, unworn and unwashed condition, items will not be accepted should there be any fragrance on it, No items will be returned if they are stained with makeup, self-tan etc. If the item you are returning does not adhere to the above, it will automatically be rejected and sent back to you.

Exchanges can be facilitated at our offices in Fourways, Sandton however this needs to be arranged with an Emotion Wear representative prior to arrival. 



Due to the printing process and the use of various suppliers, we allow for slight variations in product print and design. We also rotate our stock and therefore cannot guarantee the availability of the exact same item you originally purchased. In this instance a full refund or credit will be made available to you.




  • Return must be logged within 14 days of item being delivered
  • The item is in a re-sellable condition
  • The item being returned qualifies for return (any damage made to garment upon receipt of garment such as holes, tears, incorrect sizing based on size that was ordered, foreign markings etc.)
  • The item is in its original packaging, with labels attached


Non-returnable items:

  • Underwear
  • Masks
  • Tights
  • Swimwear with detached hygiene strips

Please note: Custom made and made-to-order items are not refundable but we are happy to repair or alter these item(s) if they have quality or sizing issues.
